Nigeria's  COVID-19 cases hits, 31,323 with 575 new cases recorded n 17 states including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Friday

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known via its official twitter handle.

" A total of 31,323 cases have been confirmed, 12,795 cases had been discharged with 709 deaths recorded.

"The 575 new cases were reported in 24 states: Lagos (224); Oyo (85); FCT (68); Rivers (49); Kaduna (39); Edo (31); Enugu (30); Delta (11); Niger (10).

"Kastina (9) and Ebonyi (5); Gombe (3); Jigawa (3); Plateau (2); Nassarawa (2); Borno (2), Kano (1) and Abia (1).
